A mission statement is a key tool that can be used to define an organization’s statement of purpose- who they are and what they do. A good mission statement can communicate succinctly what the target goals and consumers of the organization are. A values statement describes the beliefs of the organization. This statement essentially highlights what set of values the organization subscribes to.
